Join RSA US and RSA Scotland for a virtual celebration of International Women's Day 2025 as we explore the evolving landscape for women in the workplace.
This March we celebrate International Women’s Day with the theme, “Accelerate Action”. At the current rate of progress, it will take 134 years, which is roughly five generations from now, to reach full gender parity in 2158, according to data from the World Economic Forum. Swift and decisive steps are needed to achieve gender equality, especially in the workforce. We need a sense of urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.
For this event we’ll be joined by Dr. Rassheedah Watts FRSA, The Inclusive Community Architect®, Nicki Eyre FRSA, Director at Conduct Change, and Amy J Wilson, Founder and CEO of the Empathy Action Lab, who will delve into the experiences of women across various industries, why women’s perspectives are essential in shaping tomorrow’s workplaces and the actions needed to create more inclusive and equitable work environments.
This event offers a platform for connection, and collaboration, inviting all who identify as women, allies, and organizational leaders to engage in a meaningful dialogue that sparks positive change. Whether you're navigating your own career path, advocating for gender equality, or leading efforts to create inclusive workplaces, this event will hopefully inspire and support you as you drive progress.
