This will be the first of a series of virtual meetings designed to bring together Fellows of the International Development Network (IDN).
We will aim to keep meetings to no more than 60-75 minutes in length, unless otherwise notified.
The aspiration for the RSA IDN is to foster collaboration, discussion, and the exchange of knowledge in this rapidly evolving sector. Whether you're actively engaged in international development or simply interested in the field, we welcome all Fellows with diverse expertise and perspectives to join and support our growing community.
In this first meeting of 2025, we aim to discuss the purpose of the IDN, and your desired levels of input to future events.
Agenda:
- Introduction from new network lead and members of the International Development Network
- Discuss each individual’s Top Values and an Ask/Offer for the room
- Discussion time on one or two relevant themes as decided by Fellows (based on feedback from the questionnaire on Circle – TBC nearer the date)
- Discussion of initial ideas for an IDN event series in 2025
- Outro/next steps
Taking part in online events
For our interactive online events, the RSA uses the platform Zoom. It may be necessary to follow a short set-up process. To understand how Zoom uses your data, please read their Privacy Policy in advance.
Zoom call joining details will be sent out via email in advance of the event.
At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
