The world as it is: fragile, unbalanced, degenerative. The world as it could be: resilient, rebalanced, regenerative. Explore with us how particular perspectives on challenge and change can help build flourishing futures for people, places and the planet.
In this interactive events series, we share insights from the RSA’s Design for Life mission, including six perspectives we consider core to regenerative change: systemic, imaginative, adaptive, collective, long-time and authentic. How might we invite these perspectives into all our work to transform our economic, social and environmental systems to be more conducive to life?
We spotlight where these perspectives are being applied within a range of work-in-progress ‘interventions’ by the RSA, as well as by our Fellows and partners to imagine and pursue better futures. Join us to discuss what we’re doing, what we’re learning, and what shows up in your own changemaking work.
At this event, Anna Markland (Head of Innovation) and the RSA Spark team will be giving an update on RSA Spark, a programme that offers learners and entrepreneurs inspiring real-world experiences; a chance to create impact ideas; connections to Fellows, industry experts and local communities; nurturing and application of life-long capabilities; with the ultimate chance make a difference.
RSA Spark was launched as a private beta in September 2025, gathering feedback from 8 organisations in the UK and beyond. Alongside this on-the-ground user testing, the team have continued to connect with allies in the education and enterprise system to understand how we can collectively drive change.
As we move into the second phase of our beta, we want to share our findings, pitfalls and refined programme with Fellows. We want to offer honest reflection on what it takes to launch a “start-up” and share exciting opportunities to get involved. We’d also like to present our brilliant live ‘Mission Briefs’ (regenerative design challenges) in collaboration with our partners, Rayne Trust, Network Rail, RMIT University and Marketing Trust.
Presentations from our speakers will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
We welcome all changemakers who are interested from different fields and disciplines, within and beyond our RSA Fellowship community.
Taking part in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes. We encourage all attendees who are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.
At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
