The Steps, RSA House and Online via Zoom

The world as it is: fragile, unbalanced, degenerative. The world as it could be: resilient, rebalanced, regenerative. Explore with us how particular perspectives on challenge and change can help build flourishing futures for people, places and the planet.

In this interactive events series, we share insights from the RSA’s Design for Life mission, including six perspectives we consider core to regenerative change: systemic, imaginative, adaptive, collective, long-time and authentic. How might we invite these perspectives into all our work to transform our economic, social and environmental systems to be more conducive to life?

We spotlight where these perspectives are being applied within a range of work-in-progress ‘interventions’ by the RSA, as well as by our Fellows and partners to imagine and pursue better futures. Join us to discuss what we’re doing, what we’re learning, and what shows up in your own changemaking work.

At this event, Tom Stratton (Chief of Staff), Hayley Sims (Head of Policy and Participation) and Nick Heslop (Senior Policy and Participation Researcher) will share learnings and provocations from our Innovation Corridors work.

As part of our Prosperous Places intervention, Innovation Corridors are a relatively new way of thinking about delivering regional prosperity, by joining neighbouring places through “corridors” of shared strategies, institutions and initiatives to bring about greater opportunities.

Discover how this initiative is transforming how we think about prosperous places. Tom, Hayley and Nick will l provide an overview, sharing insights from real-world examples currently being developed and testing: Creative Corridors and the East Coast Corridor.

Presentations from our speakers will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

We welcome all changemakers who are interested from different fields and disciplines, within and beyond our RSA Fellowship community.

Taking part in RSA in-person events

To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes. We encourage all attendees that are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.

At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
