How can we transform our culture of learning?

Proteus Creation Space, Council Road, Basingstoke RG21 3DH

This May, join Fellows in Basingstoke for a hands-on workshop thinking creatively about new ways of learning, exploring organisational learning culture and developing capabilities for meaningful change.

At the heart of the Design for Life mission is the commitment to understand and unlock the confidence, capabilities and connections of learners and entrepreneurs of all ages. We want to help changemakers, innovators and entrepreneurs reach their full potential in how you shape a regenerative world.

Traditional approaches to training rely on knowledge transfer, expecting learners to move from theory to applied practice on their own. On the other hand, Surgeons, pilots, astronauts and firefighters, have long relied on simulation training to prepare for success. Why? Because practice makes perfect when it’s critical to get it right the first time. Does critical decision-making that impacts your team or organisation deserve any less rigour? Why sink or swim when you can play?

In this Fellow-led participatory workshop, Fellows are invited to learn the principles of new approaches to training design, tackle challenges collaboratively, and broaden your perspective for effective collective decision-making, in a fun and immersive way that creates long-lasting effects and enables people to flourish.

This event is free to attend and open to Fellows and friends. Open to individuals eager to build capabilities for meaningful change, or those seeking new approaches for your business or team.
