Matthew Taylor's Blog

Matthew Taylor was Chief Executive of the RSA from 2006 to 2021. He wrote a number of blogs on topics ranging from policy, politics, public service reform and cultural theory to the RSA itself.

Prior to becoming Chief Executive of the RSA, Matthew was Chief Adviser on Political Strategy to the Prime Minister and was the Director of the Institute for Public Policy Research between 1999 and 2003. He has written numerous articles for different publications and is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Moral Maze.

He will become Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation in summer 2021.
