As a Community Operations intern, Meilin is supporting strategic programmatic efforts and initiatives, with a particular focus on expanding access to the historically excluded.
Meilin graduated from Boston University with a BA in Biology specializing in Ecology and Conservation with a minor in Environmental Analysis and Policy. She is fascinated by the intersection between people and natural systems, and hopes to focus her career on changing these interactions to be more equitable and sustainable. More specifically, Meilin aspires to help transition linear economies and corporate structures into cyclical systems that account for ecosystems and local communities.
Although Meilin grew up in a suburb near Chicago, Illinois, she prefers thin crust pizza over deep dish. In her free time, she can be found trying out a new bread recipe, birdwatching, or catching up on her reading list.
