Student Design Awards winner: A Change of Clothes
WINNER: Brief 9, Moving Pictures - Conceive and produce an animation to accompany one of the two selected audio files that will clarify, energise and illuminate the content.
Inspired by fashion illustration, this is a playful animation exploring the reformation of the fashion industry through adoption of a circular economy.
‘A Change of Clothes’ explores the reformation of the fashion industry through adoption of a circular economy. Its refined colour palette and use of textural brushes has ensured it is an effective piece of communication design with a strong conceptual underpinning. A combination of motion graphics and frame animation bring the visuals, which are inspired by fashion illustration, to life.
A Change of Clothes was submitted in response to Moving Pictures Category 1: Fashioning a Circular Future, an audio by Make Fashion Circular narrated by Lily Cole.
