In 1761 the painter Francis Hayman and his artist friends asked the Society of Arts to host another exhibition of contemporary art. After the crowds of the first exhibition, this time they demanded an entry fee to keep out the unmoneyed rabble.

Fellows and others who are members of the Sustainable Households subgroup of the RSA Sustainability Network are running an interactive event on 4 July to share ideas for householders to reduce their food and clothing waste.
After the summer, RSA Performing Arts Network look forward to joining up with the RSA Team for a special Ideas event with a poetic twist.

Enter the International Proverse Poetry Prize 2018 for single poems previously unpublished in English. This competition was founded in 2016 by RSA Life Fellow, Dr Verner Bickley, MBE and his wife, Dr Gillian Bickley. Submissions close on 30th June with late entries possible.
