This month Fellows and friends are invited to a film screening of 'We are searching for life'.

A powerful spoken word performance by award-winning British Pakistani Artist and Activist Salma Zulfiqar alongside Syrian refugees and Iranian former asylum seekers, the film will be screened at Rawthmells, RSA House, on Friday 29 November.

This film is intended to remind the audience why refugees and migrants are leaving their homes. It calls for safe migration routes and to allow for humanitarian sea rescue and explores the refugees and migrants issues surrounding social cohesion in the UK. It also highlights the need for extra protection for women in the move.

This film is part of Salma Zulfiqar's on going work in her Migration project which promotes peace, tolerance, empowerment and social cohesion in communities. The film is supported by Celebrating Sanctuary and Birmingham City Council.

Event: Film Screening: We are Searching for Life followed by Q&A
Date: 29 November 3.45-5pm
