Working with climate change
Join RSA Fellows at SPACER creative studio on their pathway to Net Zero, with an hour packed with facts, activities and support for your own climate change resilience.
This Fellow-led free lunchtime talk is aimed at artists, creatives and local businesses to be led through the practical steps that you can take to reduce your carbon footprint. This event is part of SPACER’s Climate Change and Creativity programme, funded by an Arts Council England National Lottery Project grant.

Kent Fellows Festival screening party
This year the Fellows Festival explores the question ‘what could go right?’, celebrating optimism and positivity, and sharing examples of innovative projects that are changing our society and planet for a better future. Thanet Fellows are invited to The Margate School for a screening party, to have a drink and watch all the streamed discussions and key note speakers, to reflect and discuss alongside your local Fellowship community.

Measuring the environmental impact of your work
Thursday 29 June, 10am- 1pm. Online via Zoom
This will be a free 2-hour online workshop hosted by RSA Fellows from SPACER Creative studio and ‘Julie’s Bicycle’, sharing some of their tools and tips for artists and creatives working with climate change.
Participants will gain an overview of the environmental impact of art practices, guidance around decision-making within their practice, and how they can reduce their environmental impact.There will be plenty of examples and case studies, the opportunity to reflect upon your own work and plenty of resources to support your development of strategies and policies for working with climate change.
Places are limited, and the team are operating on a waiting list. If your availability changes and you can no longer attend, please update the team so they can offer the space to someone else on the list.This external event has been made possible through funding from Arts Council England and forms part of the SPACER climate and creativity series, and the RSA Fellows Festival programme.
