Our brand-new Fellowship Promotion Guide is a powerful new resource designed to make it easier than ever for current Fellows and staff to share the value of the RSA Fellowship with others.
This is more than just a tool, it's a go-to guide for inspiration, practical tips and the information you need to advocate for the RSA. Feel empowered to spread the word and attract new Fellows who share our mission.
The Fellowship Promotion Guide is for RSA Fellows. Now, you can seamlessly share the benefits of the Fellowship with your peers, colleagues and friends.
Why is it needed?
Fellows are the best ambassadors for the RSA community. This guide is vital to equip Fellows adequately with the tools, information and inspiration they need to promote our work.
- Using peer influence – this guide will help Fellows articulate the value of the Fellowship and structure conversations to ensure outreach is more consistent and impactful
- Clarifying the benefits – a comprehensive resource to help prospective and current Fellows clearly understand the advantages of being part of the RSA
- Streamlining recruitment – providing key messages, FAQs and practical tips to provide Fellows with the confidence to promote the Fellowship
- Increasing reach – diversifying our audience to ensure a stronger and more dynamic Fellowship.
What's in the guide?
Inside this guide, you’ll find:
- Clear, simple and concise messaging to explain the value of the Fellowship
- Answers to frequently asked questions about our offering
- Practical tools to help you spread the word, from PowerPoint slides to flyers
- Tips and tricks for starting meaningful dialogues
How else can I use this resource?
Here are some more practical ways to use the Fellowship Promotion Guide and make a lasting impact.
Hosting a Fellow-led event
Before hosting a Fellow-led event, take a moment to review this guide. It’s a quick way to refresh your understanding of the Fellowship’s benefits and be prepared to answer questions from potential prospects.
Sharing flyers
Print out the flyers provided in the guide and keep them handy. For instance, if you're based in Italy and meeting colleagues or peers, you could carry some flyers in your bag to distribute to those who might be an asset to our community.
Incorporate promotion slides into your presentation
Add the Fellowship promotion slides to the end of your presentation. For example, you’re speaking at a sustainability conference. As you wrap up, you include a slide about the RSA Fellowship and share your personal experience, highlighting the benefits of being part of the sustainability network, for example, on Circle.
Nominate outstanding individuals
When you meet someone who embodies the spirit of the RSA, take action! Submit their name and email through this online nomination form. Picture this: you’re seated next to someone at an event, and after hearing about their incredible work, you know they’d make a fantastic Fellow. A quick nomination could be the start of their Fellowship journey.
Please be mindful
We have curated these resources, especially for our Fellowship. Therefore, please refrain from editing the Fellowship Promotion Guide or sharing it in spaces which don’t align with the RSA’s values.
If you have any questions about the guide, would like your own copy or are interested in discovering more ways to promote the Fellowship, please contact the Fellowship team at fellowship@rsa.org.uk. Let’s grow our community together!
