RSA Engage provides a brilliant platform to share ideas, seek support from others locally and establish and develop connections. On Tuesday 14 November, we are coming to Southampton!
We're featuring local innovative projects seeking support from an informed audience, working to address place-based social challenges and reflecting a positive vision for the future of Southampton, driving inclusive and sustainable action.
The event will kick off with sharing opportunities and resources available to grassroots initiatives across the city. This will be followed by a few project pitches from place-based socially focused initiatives across Hampshire –with a focus on reducing food waste, reconnecting young people with nature, creativity, and healthcare. The pitches will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions, find out more from the people driving the ideas forward, and volunteer your support.
This event is free to attend, and open to Fellows and friends of the RSA. Refreshments will be available.
Future Towns Innovation Hub:
The Future Towns Innovation Hub is based at the University of Southampton’s Science Park, in Chilworth, within the brand new Engineering Centre. Working in partnership with Research England and the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership, partner companies will be able to access the University’s specialist skills and state-of-the-art facilities through the Future Towns Innovation Hub in a both timely and cost-effective manner. The Future Towns Innovation Hub is focused on Transforming and Connecting Future Towns and built environments within the Enterprise M3 area and surrounding areas, with the ultimate aim of creating happier, healthier and more prosperous towns.
