Online via Zoom

  • Community engagement

This month's RSA Newcastle Network: Connect and Engage event will give Fellows the opportunity to present a lightning talk to the group and receive instant feedback.

Developed in response to requests for information about current local activity, Connect and Engage events provide opportunities for Fellows to:

• meet others locally,

• learn about their projects,

• share ideas, and

• establish and develop connections.

Held online via Zoom, this simple, structured networking session will comprise a series of short verbal introductions to a topic, followed by a chance to ask questions and follow up any individual topic that interests you with more in-depth discussion.

In this session, we'll hear about:

  • DNR's and perceptions of the elderly in a post-pandemic society (Eric Doughney FRSA)
  • Tackling the housing crisis: a radical intervention (Chris Beales FRSA)
  • A North East Hub for Culture declares emergency (Julie Ward FRSA)
  • Changing the construction industry from the ground up (Dave Stitt FRSA)

This event is free to attend and open to Fellows and non-Fellows.
