Join us for the Projects for the Future of Salisbury event.
Hear about innovative ideas and new projects that are happening in the local area and discuss local RSA projects and programmes for 2020. We are delighted to welcome Amanda Newbery as a speaker and Lou Matter, our regional RSA manager, to this meeting.
Amanda is a great advocate for the city and has attended and spoken at a number of past local RSA events. She is managing director of Salisbury's The Chapel nightclub, former chair of Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID), and a founding member and chair of Salisbury's Purple Flag Steering Group to develop the local evening and night time economy.
The main programme will be preceeded by informal networking and refreshments from 6.30pm-7pm.
The programme will include an “informal AGM” discussion of possible Salisbury RSA Network themes and our local events programme for next year. Ideas suggested so far for 2020 include speakers on the Frome Independent Traders and Market and our neighbouring Frome RSA Network; an event with the RSA Coaching Network and local Salisbury social enterprises; and a meeting and tour of the new facilities at Wiltshire College Salisbury Campus once completed in Autumn 2020.
The informal AGM will be followed by a presentation from Amanda and audience discussion on Projects for the Future of Salisbury.
Please come along to meet other local Fellows and guests, to listen, and contribute!
