The RSA Fellowship is buzzing with networks, Fellow-led events, and Fellowship projects, all working in different and innovative ways – have you ever been curious about how they work? In response to requests for online networking events to share experiences, ideas and connections, we’re excited to curate a series of participatory, online events focused nurturing the RSA community of practice.
How can we explore the deep richness to the experiential knowledge of 29,000 Fellows? From the new collaborative physical and digital spaces that are opening up with Rawthmells Coffeehouse to encouraging Fellows to engage in a Cup of Change, we’re experimenting with new ways to help Fellows bring their unique perspectives, skills and experiences to our common aim of enriching society through ideas and actions.
One of the most common requests we get is Fellows asking us for opportunities to meet with and learn from other Fellows who are leading RSA activity. So this December, we’re excited to curate of participatory, online events focused on nurturing the RSA’s community of practitioners to share wisdom, best practices and get to know each other.
Join us for a series of online events featuring Fellows leading social action in their communities through RSA Networks and Fellowship Projects. Get to know the people leading activity and the stories of how they got started. Ask questions and get insight into others’ best practices. Connect with other Fellows wanting to initiate RSA activity and explore collaborative possibilities.
About the series
You’re welcome to join us for one, two or all of our three evening sessions on the topics of: Fellow-led Thematic Networks, Place-based Networks, and Fellowship Projects. These will take place via the online conferencing platform, Zoom.
We’ve designed these sessions with Fellows already leading RSA activities in mind. The purpose is to connect you and create a space to share and learn from each other, highlighting different approaches and identifying effective strategies.
There will be opportunities to network as well as discussion time to dive into the technical nuts and bolts knowledge exchange. We also encourage those curious about running RSA activity to join in, get a sense of what initiating activity entails, and connect with support.
Each session will feature a panel of Fellows who will share their experiences, challenges and best practices in running activity with the RSA, followed by opportunities for questions and wider discussion. We will ensure plenty of time for fellows to network in the session, with the hope that these supportive connections will continue afterwards.
