Join us for a series of online events featuring Fellows leading social action in their communities. Get to know the Fellows leading RSA networks and projects, and the stories of how they got started. Ask questions and get insight into others’ best practices. Connect with other Fellows wanting to initiate RSA activity and explore collaborative possibilities.
The RSA Fellowship is buzzing with networks, Fellow-led events, and Fellowship projects, all working in different and innovative ways – have you ever been curious about how they work? How they got started? How they organise? Who the Fellows are leading the work?
In response to requests for online networking events to share experiences, ideas and connections, we’re excited to curate a series of participatory, online events focused on nurturing an RSA community of practice.
About the series
There will be three sessions on the topics of: Fellow-led Thematic Networks, Place-based Networks, and Fellowship Projects. You are welcome to join for one, two, or all of them.
The event is designed for Fellows already leading RSA activities - to connect with and learn from each other, though all are warmly welcome. We encourage those curious about running RSA activity to join in, get a sense of what initiating activity entails, and connect with support.
Each session will feature a panel of Fellows who will share their experiences, challenges and best practices in running activity with the RSA, followed by opportunities for questions and wider discussion. We will ensure plenty of time for Fellows to network in the session, with the hope that these supportive connections will continue afterwards.
Thematic Networks Session
More than 30 Fellow-led networks explore, devise, test or pioneer ideas which have the potential to become a powerful source of social change. Thematic Networks bring together groups of people interested in the RSA mission around a variety of topics and sectors.
Our Fellow-led Networks are structured to empower Fellows to drive change with support from RSA staff. Some Fellows take part in a professional capacity, others in their spare time. Some networks focus on learning and sharing knowledge, others on projects with defined outputs and outcomes. RSA Networks have developed responses to government consultations, held participatory events to provide learning opportunities and open discussion, and set challenges for members amongst other activity.
This event will take place via online conferencing platform, Zoom. You will receive the unique link to this meeting a week before the event, and again as a reminder 30 minutes before.
This event is hosted by the RSA Fellowship team. For questions and information, please contact: Claire Doran (Area Manager, South East) at claire.doran@rsa.org.uk.
