RSA Cambridge Meetup

At this meetup we’ll hear more about the pioneering Buurtzorg project, a Dutch model of integrated health and social care in the community. The key to the approach is that the model empowers individuals – in this case nurses – to deliver all the care that patients need.   

On the 15th November we will hear from two local community nurses who have set up Buurtzorg-inspired services in Cambridgeshire and then explore how RSA Cambridge might support this approach. Buurtzorg Britain and Ireland is a ‘Transform’ project for the RSA and you can read more about it here. 

After this discussion we’ll follow up on some exciting plans for a partnership project with Cambridge Commons to tackle inequality in education. In the meantime, if you’d like to find out more and potentially get involved in a working group on secondary education and routes into employment please email robert.porrer@virginmedia.com. 

We’ll make sure we have time for informal networking too. We welcome both existing Fellows and anyone who is interested in finding out more about the RSA – feel free to bring a friend or colleague!

• Additional free parking is available at Madingley Road Park and Ride, a five minute walk
