As Matthew Taylor announced at this year’s AGM we are replacing the RSA’s existing technology with an up-to-date and fully-integrated website. The new website will launch in January 2015 - this is a little later than first planned; however this is a big and ambitious project and we are determined to get it right.
Many Fellows have fed back to us that they would like easier ways to connect with each other. With this in mind, the new website will allow Fellows to:
- Create a useful and informative online profile and share information about their skills and interests
- Search for other Fellows by skills, interests or location and connect using an online private messaging service
- Comment and share ideas around key areas of RSA activity such as events.
The design and capabilities of the new site have been developed following detailed research and user testing among both Fellows and non-Fellows. The launch of the website will just be the first step in an ongoing programme of work to improve how Fellows connect and collaborate with each other – new features will continue to be added after the launch date. In addition, the new website will present information in a much more accessible way for everyone who visits the site, including those using smartphones and tablets, and will ultimately allow for a more personalised experience.

Can you confirm if the old links (to events, etc) should work post site redesign? Eg: the link to this event from last week breaks.
