Owen McNeir FRSA has won an UnLtd Grow It award for his project Remarkable Lives - a venture that is harnessing storytelling and tech to improve care in later life.
Owen spoke about his work around ageing in a RSA blog in April, specifically about how he focuses on harnessing storytelling and tech to improve care in later life. After a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, his project has evolved in some exciting ways.
Recently it won an UnLtd 'Grow It' award as part of the Transform Ageing pilot programme in the South West and a week later was selected as one of nine tech startups (out of 150+ applicants) for the Bethnal Green Ventures autumn accelerator.
Learn more about the project through the Remarkable Lives website or follow them on Twitter here: @RemarkableAge. There is also a blog update on the Techspark website.
