Six lifetime RSA Fellowships are being offered by SCLD (Scottish Commission for Learning Disability) and RSA Scotland for anyone with a learning disability in Scotland who wants to turn their creative ideas into a reality.
The RSA and SCLD have a shared commitment to improve access to support and resources for people with learning disabilities. Together, we want to recognise people’s skills and talents and help them realise their unique creative ideas to achieve social change.
Jamie Cooke, Head of RSA Scotland said:
"We at the RSA are delighted to be working with SCLD to create a new cohort of Fellows. As an organisation rooted in Enlightenment principles of human capacity and achievement, we are committed to connecting to all parts of the community, and this is an ideal chance to broaden our partnerships and relationships. The new group will be a very welcome addition to our 1300 Fellows in Scotland, and I look forward to learning from their ideas and experience."
These Fellowship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 18 with a learning disability in Scotland who wants their creative idea to become a reality - it could involve an idea for a product, group, performance or business venture.
The deadline for application is Monday 11th April.
