Helen Sanderson, RSA Fellow and founder of Wellbeing Teams (part of the RSA Transform Programme) is organising the first Reinventing Work in Manchester, on 5 March.
Reinventing Work: Manchester is part of the wider movement which started in Bristol following the 2018 RSA Reinventing Work South West series which explored the meaning of self-management in the workplace. Our first meetup is with Mark Eddleston. We will be exploring Aaron Dignan's Brave New Work and using The Ready's Tension Cards.
Reinventing Work’s purpose is to make work better, one place at a time. We are a community of practice - a place to share, learn and practise new, more human-centred ways of working. We aim to be:
- Purposeful: we take inspiration from a wide range of people and places
- Supportive: we support each other and create a safe space to work through issues that might be difficult to talk about at work.
- Inspirational and practical: we share positive stories and tips
- Diverse and welcoming: wherever you are on your journey, we'll do our best to help you, your team and your organisation become more human-centred.
If you’re still unsure, find out more in this blog.
Event: Reinventing Work: Manchester #1
Date & Time: Thursday 5 March, 6-8pm
Location: Neo, Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4ET.
