The Sustainable Development Goals Network invites RSA Fellows to their next MeetUp on Wednesday 13 November in the Paddington Development Trust facilities, co-organsied by Carolina Karlstrom FRSA.

This event will explore “how we can create change in socially deprived areas" with the help of the sustainable development goals. Three most inspirational organisations will share their passion and how they are working to build a greater sense of community in London:

  • Energy Garden - Over the last two years, the Energy Garden team has supported communities across London to transform 30+ London Overground platforms and stations into thriving gardens and food growing plots.
  • GoodGym - GoodGym helps you get fit by doing good. We’re a group of runners that combines regular exercise with helping our communities.
  • Paddington Development Trust- Made up of employees and volunteers who are involved in a wide range of activities from elected representation on neighbourhood forums through to helping plan and deliver community festivals. The Employment and Training teams work with other community-based organisations across London who directly help people furthest from the work-place build capacity to become economically and socially engaged.

There will be opportunities for Q&A and great networking. The event is open to all and free to attend.

*Sustainable Development Goals Network London has for vision to create a community of change makers who wants to participate in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (=SDG). This project aims to provide a platform for like-minded people to come together to network and discuss on new ideas that might lead to the realisation of the global SDGs.
