RSA Engage provides a brilliant platform to share innovative ideas, seek support from others and establish new local connections.
On Tuesday 25 February, RSA Engage comes to Reading! We will spotlight a variety of Fellow-led initiatives, driving inclusive social and environmental change through education, entrepreneurship and community engagement.
Come along to learn about these action-focused projects happening in your area, tap into the wealth of expertise across our regional Fellowship, or offer your support and insights.
There will also an opportunity to find out how you can get more involved in shaping Reading Fellowship activity in 2025.
Please try to arrive on time, as we intend to start from 5.45pm. This event is free to attend as a speaker or a general attendees, and open to Fellows and friends of the RSA. Feel free to invite a friend/colleague, and follow the link to secure your tickets.
About Reading Biscuit Factory:
Our venue, Reading Biscuit Factory is a three-screen cinema, bar, coffee shop, live performance space and community hub situated at the heart of Reading’s town centre. Historically, it was a bakery which grew into Huntly & Palmers, the world’s largest biscuit company and Readings biggest employer in 1900. Their vast factory earned Reading the nickname “Biscuit Town”!
Taking part in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes. We encourage all attendees who are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.
At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
