In this interactive events series, we share insights from the RSA’s Design for Life mission, including six perspectives we consider core to regenerative change: systemic, imaginative, adaptive, collective, long-time and authentic. How might we invite these perspectives into all our work to transform our economic, social and environmental systems to be more conducive to life?
We spotlight where these perspectives are being applied within a range of work-in-progress ‘interventions’ by the RSA, as well as by our Fellows and partners to imagine and pursue better futures. Join us to discuss what we’re doing, what we’re learning, and what shows up in your own changemaking work.
At this event, the Playful Green Planet Stewards and Cathy Pineo (Head of Regenerative Learning and Design) will provide an update on the programme, focusing on using strength-based approaches to support co-design and envision the transformation of local spaces into ecologically thriving outdoor playrooms and classrooms that grow children’s capabilities and social activism.
Playful Green Planet, run in partnership with the Eden Project and Bath Spa University, and inspired by Forest of Imagination, will transform how children connect with nature and community through outdoor creative play. The programme’s first two sites are in Coldside, one of Dundee’s most economically disadvantaged areas, and in Hull. In Dundee, the stewards will be a coalition between the Maxwell Community Centre and Garden, and ‘Toadstool Trails’, and in Hull, the transformation will be led by leading experts from the University of Hull’s School of Education.
Presentations from our speakers will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Taking part in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending.
