RSA Falmouth

Fellowship events

 -  | BST British Summer Time

The Poly, TR11 3EG

Join other RSA Fellows who live and work in the Falmouth area for an evening of inspiration and networking.
Local Fellows from across different sectors and professions will share insight into the innovative work they are doing in Cornwall. Come to hear lighting talks, enjoy some refreshments and make some new connections.

RSA Fellowship Engagement Manager for the South West of England will be on hand to share updates about The RSA’s Design for Life mission, including Playful Green Planet and Prosperous Places.

We will be meeting at The Poly, champion of the arts, history and science, in Falmouth. The Poly have recently relaunched their medal awards, championing excellence in science, industry and the arts since the 1830s.

Fellows are invited by The Poly to stay for the rest of the evening and join their event with Director Mark Cousins in conversation about his film “A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things” which profiles the life and career of British artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham,.

If you would like to connect with other Fellows in or around Falmouth, but you are not able to attend on 22 October, please say hello on Circle: South West | The RSA | Circle

Taking part in RSA in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes. We encourage all attendees that are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.

At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
