How are your levels of wellbeing and success affected by the things you cannot control? How do you thrive when faced with uncertainty? Do you have an unclear or unmappable work or home challenge that you are struggling to move forward with? Uncertainty can show up in a new job, an unexpected personal challenge, a work transition you find yourself in or in a community initiative you are passionate about.

Uncertainty is one of life’s constants, we find ourselves continually swimming in it but few of us know how to work with it. It can make us feel unsafe, out of control, unsure, anxious, numb or nervous, and it can hold us back as we become confused or frozen about the way forward.

So how do we find wellness and thriving when work and life is uncertain? Find out more about how uncertainty holds you back when work or life feels unpredictable and uncontrollable. In this workshop we will explore different approaches to living and working with uncertainty to turn the dial from fear to thriving when life feels changeable.

Sarah has spent many years continually finding new ways to thrive on the edges and in the middle of changes, transitions and transformations. Sarah’s professional life has been dominated by leading and supporting people through change in organisations large and small, and Sarah’s biggest personal uncertainty challenge has been having a disabled daughter and navigating a path to enable her to thrive and grow.

Part of a 3-part series of events at Engine Shed hosted by RSA Fellows designed to boost your wellbeing at work a boost.
