Shrewley & Wroxall: Inspiring ideas for local community action

Fellowship events

 -  | BST British Summer Time

Wren Hall, Wroxall, Warwickshire CV35 7NF

  • Community and place-based action
  • Environment

Join us on Saturday 14 October at Wren Hall in Wroxall for the launch of the Shrewley and Wroxall* Environment Action Team (SWEAT).

Find out more about a host of inspiring ideas for local community action to improve our environment. Not just for our benefit but for future generations.

Speakers from local organisations and the community will share ideas for discussion on a range of hot topics.

  • Food for thought – enjoy a freshly cooked snack and find out ways of reducing waste, by sharing produce and ideas for cooking simple delicious food.
  • Confused about recycling? You’re not alone…
  • Sustainable buildings for living and working – learn more about the green features of Wren Hall and hear about ways to save energy, including retrofit, in your own home.
  • Nature matters – step into the wonderful world of soil, trees, hedges, wildflowers and an imagined orchard. Find out more about what natural riches we have on our doorstep. How can we help protect and enhance this wonderful resource and what can we aim to achieve locally?

There will be time for discussion and for exchange of ideas. The event is free to attend and will include a freshly cooked snack and coffee/tea.

We are part of the Low Carbon Warwickshire Network and the event is supported by the RSA. *SWEAT includes Beausale, Haseley and Honiley.
