Healthy eating is important for all of us, and for our planet.
On 22 February, The Coffee House in RSA House welcomes special guest, renowned nutritionist Amanda Ursell. Join us for a talk and Q&A with Amanda about eating healthily, and how our diets can support our planet’s health too.
Amanda Ursell is a Registered Nutritionist with a postgraduate diploma in dietetics, and over 25 years of experience of working in the area of nutrition. Amanda is a member of the British Dietetic Association; The Association for Nutrition and The Guild of Food Writers and is a Visiting Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine and Oxford Brookes University.
Winner of the 2019 Health and Vitality Special Achievement Honours and HFMA Health Writer of The Year award, Amanda has twice been voted the most influential health professional in the UK.
Before Amanda’s talk and Q&A, there will be the option to enjoy a delicious breakfast, designed by the RSA’s Executive Chef with health and sustainability in mind:
- Banana, chia seed, London honey and coconut smoothie
- Bran, pumpkin seed and blueberry mini muffins
- Coconut and quinoa bircher, poached Yorkshire rhubarb, maple baked seeds
- Plant based yoghurt, blood orange, flax seed and hazelnut granola
Tea and coffee will also be served. Dietary requirements and allergies will be catered for. We cannot guarantee total absence of allergen traces.
Places are open to everybody, within and beyond our Fellowship community. Numbers are limited and tickets must be booked in advance.
We offer a choice of ticket types that include / do not include the breakfast. The event will start at 8.30am for those attending breakfast, and 9am for those who opt for the talk and Q&A only.
