There has been a tradition of hosting an annual conference in Scotland, alternating between Glasgow and Edinburgh, as a space to reflect up the work underway and to focus on the future. The 2018 iteration will be taking place in Glasgow on the 15th June.
Matthew Taylor, RSA Chief Executive, has confirmed that he will be attending. This was partly in response to a letter from a very small group of Scottish Fellows expressing disquiet with the development of the organisation – Matthew’s contribution will be a chance to hear about the overall direction of the RSA, and RSA Scotland’s role within that.
The conference will have three key sections – Part 1 will reflect upon the year that has passed and the progress Scotland has made; Part 2 will look at some of the work that is currently underway, including Fellow-led thematic and geographic networks; and Part 3 will look to the future and discuss ideas for further enhancing RSA Scotland’s impact and connections.
