We are living through interesting times. With countries across our globe developing and managing their economies shaped and influenced by political and social agendas. As global citizens, we recognise a universal truth that economic decisions are more likely to be influenced and underpinned by political dogma and moral assumptions than expertise.
Join US IN Durham for our free RSA and Cafe Culture event
The RSA Citizens’ Economic Council is making the case for building a stronger economic democracy in the UK through informed engagement and discussion.
The RSA Durham Network and Cafe Culture North East are delighted to work in partnership, inviting you to join us as we consider how we might shift and change 'spheres of influence’ through our citizens' voice.
Reema Patel, RSA Programme Manager, will introduce the work and thinking of the Citizens Economic Council as a springboard for an engaging, interactive evening.
Join us to explore global economies: how they work and how they trade and trade off. We will endeavour to understand more about the decisions and choices made, enabling us to think more clearly about our economic democracy together with the part we play.
