Please note: This programme is taking place at Seed Festival in Stroud, from Saturday 20th July to Sunday 21st July.
Never before have we been so aware of the threat facing our climate and our future on this planet. What we need now is to turn awareness into action.
We are surrounded by information about the ongoing effects of climate change, and the diminishing time we have left to respond. The challenge we now face is converting knowledge into action, and action into lasting change. What would a bold, unified response to climate emergency look like, and how can we take steps towards it, as individuals and a collective?
The RSA joins up with Seed festival to host a programme of events dedicated to celebrating and protecting the natural world, mobilising climate action, and nurturing hope for a better future. Never has there been a more crucial time to come together to act for the sake of our planet, and this programme of lively discussions, featuring speakers including Mike Berners-Lee, Matthew Taylor, and Bibi van der Zee, will explore the practical changes we can all make to ensure real progress on the most pressing challenge of our time.
