Anj Handa FRSA, Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers, and Elizabeth Wright FRSA, have been included in Generation Share, a visual storybook featuring 200 global changemakers. Produced by Sharing Economy expert Benita Matofska FRSA and photographer with purpose Sophie Sheinwald, it is a collection of changemaker stories which brings to life the phenomenon causing the most significant shift in society since the Industrial Revolution.
Generation Share places a spotlight on Anj Handa FRSA’s mentoring work, with her interview including one of her mentees, Ashley. Anj works intensively with a minimum of two mentees a year over a span of several years each. Her mentees have typically lived with pain and trauma, with their personal circumstances including domestic abuse and long-term mental health issues. She works to help people turn their lives around so that they, in turn, can pay it forward by mentoring others when they are ready.
The focus on Elizabeth Wright FRSA was placed on her work within schools. Originally from Australia but residing in Leeds, Elizabeth is a three-time Paralympic medal-winner, speaker and character development expert. She shares her strategies for resilience, wellbeing and success with children and adults alike, spreading positivity wherever she goes.
