It comes as no surprise that the UK faces a digital skills gap. The fact that 100,000 people are needed in the digital sector each year alone suggests that this is an area that needs attention. Surf and Turf Camp is an affordable, enriching, inclusive holiday camp for 8-13 year-olds, giving them the opportunity to create their own video games, mobile apps and robots during a week long or weekend away. During their stay, Surf and Turf provides young people with free taster sessions and a healthy balance of activities including sport and physical challenge; a peer learning platform to inspire kids before camp and signpost them to new challenges afterwards; plus a physical alumni meet up group.
