MAKLab, Scotland’s open access making spaces, is a Fellow-led project that the RSA has supported since its inception. Now in a period of growth across Scotland, MAKLab works to put its mission of widening access to tools and skills into action.
Check out the MAKLab website for details of upcoming workshops and events, or to find out how you can go in to make use of the equipment. MAKLab Glasgow is a venue space as well as workshop, and is regularly used by RSA Scotland for events.

I went on to the website to find out more about this project, but there seemed to be nothing behind the front page? Is this project still running?

Hi Richard.
I work as a surgeon in Dundee and am very closely linked with what I describe as "Healthcare by Design" - working with the V&A and our local colleges of art and design.
Clive Gillman from "Creative Scotland" and I are looking at ways to integrate the healthcare sectors more closely with the creative industries in Scotland.Possibly creating a new journal that links the two sectors.
Heard a rumour that MAKLab was coming to Dundee. If so, it would be great to hear more!
My work email address is rodney.mountain@nhs.net
