For the fashion industry to be sustainable economically, it must be sustainable socially and environmentally too.

Society needs to address the future of how we consume clothing and use textiles. There is a need to give consumers alternative solutions, provide businesses with ethical production options and teach people how to produce their own textile products in the local community.

Fable & Base is just that - it produces hand printed textiles on sustainable fabrics using low toxic dyes approved by the soil association. Its mission is to be a self-sufficient micro-business that is carbon neutral, ecologically sound and produces beautiful textiles that people can cherish for generations to come.

• Finance - advice on workshop set up.
• Sustainability - advice and support on how to work towards a fully sustainable carbon neutral business. This will include expertise on how to make sure that the business is fully transparent and to reinvest in the local community.
