Conveniently situated on the first floor, the Queen Elizabeth II Room has adjoining doors to both the Prince Philip and Shipley rooms which work well for interconnecting break out spaces. It is often used as the refreshments or pre-dinner drinks reception space when hired in conjunction with the Prince Philip Room.

The Queen Elizabeth II Room is named after her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, President of the RSA from 1947 until 1952 and then Patron following her accession until her death in 2022.

This was once the main drawing room of number 2 John Adam Street. The fireplace and doorcase were rescued from Bowood House, Wiltshire, when a wing was demolished in 1955-6.
