Claire Byrne is Senior Community Manager for RSA US
As Senior Community Manager, Claire supports the recruitment and development of Fellows across the US. She coordinates support offerings and looks for meaningful ways for Fellows to connect, share learning, and collaborate. Claire loves mobilising people for social good, organising data, and bringing human-centred design principles into her work.
Claire’s non-profit background spans working in overseas aid with Plan International Ireland, youth development with Gaisce - The President’s Award, and volunteer management and event production with organizations including the Dublin Theatre Festival and The Moth Story Slam. Before joining the RSA US team, Claire worked for Thacker Mountain Radio Hour, a weekly live radio show in Oxford, Mississippi, featuring author readings and a wide array of musical performances. As the Assistant Director, Claire managed all of the day-to-day operations for the organization, along with weekly event production and communications.
Claire is an Irish transplant to British Columbia, via Oxford, Mississippi where she lived for several years. In her free time, she can generally be found stretching on a yoga mat, cooking up a tray of enchiladas, skating (badly), or lost in a good book.
