Birmingham council is facing substantial cuts, but there are ways that citizens can prevent important community spaces from becoming neglected in the process.
Upland Enterprises is taking the UK's biggest allotment space and using it to will test a variety of micro business food initiatives with the view to it become commercially viable, sustainable resource for the community. The long term strategy is the development of enterprises that self sufficient in water, energy, and produce a wide range of foodstuffs.
