This space can be hired individually for those looking for a more relaxed and informal meeting space. It is regularly hired alongside the Great Room, which is situated next door. This makes it the ideal holding room for speakers, as it gives direct access straight on to the stage. It also has an adjoining door to the Shipley Room next door, which is ideal when hiring the rooms for the purpose of breakout spaces.
Although the room does not feature any built-in audio-visual equipment, a member of our team will be happy to arrange this on request.
This room initially lay within the Secretary’s house, but was used as a committee room by the Society from 1845 until 1957.
