Andy Haldane, the RSA chief executive, had the pleasure of giving the inaugural Bradford Literature Festival Culture Sector Lecture at the University of Bradford on Friday 24 June 2022.
Andy’s keynote concentrated on the different themes of our work over the last 200 years and linked it to how we address the role arts and culture play in social regeneration, the future of work and lifelong learning.
The Culture Sector Lecture was just one of the events that made up the Creative Economic Conference at the Bradford Literary Festival. Andy added his voice to those of his fellow speakers who put the cultural sector and creative industries at the centre of the levelling up agenda via economic and social regeneration for the North.
