RSA Fellows are warmly invited to attend a free introduction to copyright seminar for entrepreneurs, creatives and artists, taking place at 2-5pm on Monday 1 March on The Steps, RSA House.
Copyright is at the heart of most entrepreneurial and creative endeavours, yet many artists and businesses have little knowledge of copyright law and good practice. Myths and ignorance abound with people frequently infringing by mistake or failing to protect their own intellectual property. This 3-hour introduction to copyright provides a practical overview of need-to-know facts and information for entrepreneurs, creatives and businesses.
Speaker bio: Haydn Price is a Fellow of the RSA and an experienced broadcast producer who creates televisual content for international use. His work is used in thirty countries by companies such as Sky, Discovery and the BBC and sold in Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble and Tesco. He has a Master’s in UK, EU & US Copyright Law from King’s College London and manages intellectual property.
Venue: The Steps, RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ.
The seminar is free to attend and open to all. For more information and to book your place, please see here.
