Venandah Madanhi

Venandah Madanhi is a second year Aston University Law student with an interest in politics and current affairs. Prior to University, she studied the International Baccalaureate at RSA Academy Tipton. Alongside her studies, she served as an elected Youth Councillor for Wolverhampton Youth Council for 3 years before becoming a founding Stand Up Be Counted Contributor for Sky News. At 15, Venandah was awarded with an Accredited Youth Voice Award and by the age of 16, she had her first article published for Astute Radio; where she discussed the challenges faced by girls in the school system. She went on to interview a range of speakers on live television including former Education Minister Nicky Morgan and former Prime Minister David Cameron. Venandah now works towards helping other young people get their voices heard.
