Jake White
Environmental lawyer, Friends of the Earth
Jake White started his legal career in private practice with a regional firm (Shoosmiths) and subsequently a regional firm (Addleshaw Goddard) where he specialised in intellectual property. Jake joined the Government Legal Service in 2001 where he spent 10 years advising on a range of issues including State aid, nuclear energy and outer space issues, including leading the UK’s intervention in Commission v Portugal. Following a sabbatical in the Middle East, Jake was delighted to join the legal team at Friends of the Earth where he advises on climate, energy and nature issues.
