Ed Hamer

Ed Hamer grew up in rural Devon and studied Agriculture at University before starting one of the UK's first community-supported subscription farms. His farm Chagfood now supplies over 100 households a week with organic, local and seasonal veg-boxes around the small town of Chagford on the edge of Dartmoor.

Ed is also a founding member of The Landworkers' Alliance (LWA) farming union. Over the past six years he has worked as LWA Policy Officer campaigning for greater recognition and support for small-scale and family farms across the UK.
