Join the RSA and Ufi Voctech Trust are excited to invite you to join us for the virtual launch of our new research paper, Rebalancing Adult Learning.
We will make the case that interventions in adult, lifelong and community learning must be rebalanced from focusing on the skills needs of industry towards focusing on the needs of learners, particularly those furthest from existing provision.
Alongside a panel of expert guests, we will share insights and data on the needs, confidence and motivators of learners who haven’t thrived in traditional education settings.
Discover why ‘skills for jobs’ policies and opportunities often don’t reach the people that need them most; why road-bumps and friction in course registration create huge barriers to participation; and how informal and digital learning plays a vital role in helping non-traditional learners to become ‘skills ready’.
The event will be chaired RSA’s Director of Research, Dr. Alice Mathers.
