Friends and Fellows in Stratford-on-Avon District are invited to join this free Carbon Literacy Training course, accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project and delivered by Net Zero Stratford.
Carbon Literacy is relevant climate change learning for everyone. Come and find out how people are taking action in Stratford-on-Avon district and think about new ways to create a low carbon culture. Learning takes place at Stratford Climate Hub (30 Meer Street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6QB).
The course takes place on two dates – Thursday 7th November and Thursday 14th November, from 10am to 2pm on both days. To receive the Carbon Literacy certificate, you must attend both sessions. There will be a break for refreshments mid-morning each day so please bring a snack!
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Stratford’s home for community climate action. Previous participants describe our Carbon Literacy course as “very informative”, “collaborative” and “lots of fun”! We are enthusiastic about this approach to community learning to help us tackle the key issue of our times, the climate emergency.
Taking part in RSA in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes. We encourage all attendees that are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.
At the RSA, we strive to create inclusive and supportive environments for all Fellows. We recognise that individuals may require different forms of support to fully participate in our events and activities. Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistance. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
