Creative Revival: arts for economic growth in Surrey

Fellowship events

 -  | BST British Summer Time

Phoenix Cultural Centre, Woking, GU21 6JT

Following on from a previous meeting at the Phoenix Cultural Centre, join Fellows and non-Fellows to continue our discussion around how we can approach the importance of the arts to economic recovery.

As local budgets are squeezed and councils push the arts down their list of priorities, we want to come together and harness local skills and knowledge to explore creative solutions.

We’ll take some time for introductions, and then open discussion around the question: “How can we work together to communicate and embed the value of the creative economy across Surrey?”

We’ll address the local challenges but also build actionable solutions. We hope to run these meetings quarterly.

We welcome Fellows & friends from all backgrounds to contribute to this valuable discussion. Registration is free but booking is essential. There will be light refreshments provided, and there is parking on site, or it is a 5 min walk from Woking train station.

Therefore, we welcome and encourage Fellows to bring the support they feel is necessary, whether it be a carer, an emotional support animal, or any other form of assistanceWe ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of attending one of our events to ensure that the venues can accommodate such requirements. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued, and we are committed to accommodating diverse needs to foster an inclusive community.
