Fellowship events

The Food Museum, Suffolk IP14 1DL

  • Community and place-based action
  • Fellowship

Suffolk has a rich agricultural history, with local pioneers including Robert Ransome, Richard Garrett and Eve Balfour, who founded the Soil Association. The county is also home to a diverse group of RSA Fellows, amongst whom are entrepreneurs, artists, writers, and social activists.

Join us on Wednesday 20 September and meet like-minded RSA Fellows within the setting of the Food Museum’s collection of thought-provoking exhibits and restored rural buildings.

We will explore a number of themes as we walk round the displays, but our overriding goal is simply to bring Suffolk-based Fellows together and see what happens!

Past experience tells us that this prompts serendipitous connections that can inform, inspire and enrich our lives and work.

Agenda:

  • from 18:00 - Refreshments and informal conversation
  • 18:30 - Introduction by Peter Funnell FRSA and Robert Ashton FRSA
  • 18:40 - Museum tours in small groups, each with a theme to explore
  • 19:40 - Feedback and conversations
  • 20:10 - Summary and possible next steps Peter Funnell and Robert Ashton
  • 20:20 - Close

This event is free to attend and open to all, Fellows and non-Fellows. Spaces are limited so please do book your place. We hope you can join us!
