In the third session of this Fellow-led series exploring Homophobia and Transphobia we will focus on these issues through the lens of racial justice and homophobia expressed within football.
Our guest speakers will be Darryl Telles FRSA. Darryl is a lifelong campaigner for social justice, against racism and homophobia. Darryl founded the first Gay football supporters network in the mid 80s and was a co-founder of Pride in Football and Proud Lilleywhites (the Tottenham Hotspur FC LGBTQI+ supporters group). He has worked across various sectors, faiths and communities.
The event host, Trevor Wood, is an RSA Fellow and the Lead of the Fellow-led LGBTQ Network.
The event is free to attend and open to all, Fellows and non-Fellows. Please book to let us know that you’re planning to attend.
We hope you can join us!
